Without a doubt, one of the best B&B experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed here while walking the coast path (less than 5 mins off the path), and would have stayed many more nights if I had the time! The room was wonderful - spacious, clean, king bed, bath tub for soaking my sore legs, and there were robes to relax in. The breakfast was SO good (best fruit salad I’ve ever had), and the views were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone in the area.

Having stayed in many hotels, large and small, I can honestly say, hand on heart, that staying here with Petra and Martyn - our exceptional hosts, was a delight. I cannot contribute any more than the already positive reviews here. The attention to detail, the exceptional food, the views and their obvious love of welcoming guests to their ‘home’ made for an unforgettable stay. They welcomed our black Labrador, like their own ( Kasper) making this a ‘real’ dog friendly hotel. An exceptional place to stay, exceptional hosts.

The most beautiful hotel!! So welcoming and friendly. Amazing views. Petra, Martyn and Casper made us feel right at home and totally relaxed. We can’t recommend it enough. Our only regret is not booking to eat there. The food sounded amazing with a different choice each night. We wanted to visit Burgh Island and eat over there but wish we had stuck to the hotel for food. The breakfast was plentiful. They can’t do enough for you. Will definitely return. Thank you Petra and Martyn

Friendly, comfy and food to die for (and dog friendly too). Stayed for 4 nights and made very welcome: food unmatched by anywhere we have been, and that is saying something. Anyone else who cooks like that would have Michelin stars but I suspect they are just too modest. Beautiful sea views and nicely furnished - the perfect small hotel. Casper the resident Labrador must be the most mellow dog in the world too!

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Warm and charming hosts, Petra and Martyn, ensure your stay is just as you would expect. Lovely food, beautiful surroundings and the most adorable Labrador who will steal your heart. Highly recommended x

A truly exceptional small hotel. They only have five rooms, and we were told that due to COVID they were currently only using four of them. Our room (room 5) was lovely, with views across the end of the estuary and down the coast. Perfectly clean, with two comfy armchairs and a super king bed. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The owners are very friendly and happy to chat. The lounge was very comfortable with lovely views. There were hand sanitiser bottles in the room and throughout the communal areas. We kept the same table throughout our three night stay as a sensible COVID precaution. There aren't many places to eat in the area, and we're really glad we went for half board. The breakfasts are great - good quality ingredients, well cooked. However, the evening meals were truly superb. Normally two choices for each of the three courses, and I can honestly say that the meal I had with chicken soup starter, john dory main, and tiramisu dessert was one of the best meals I've ever had. I can thoroughly recommend The Henley.
